Akako is one of the three heads of the Nekomata.
The Nekomata evolve from very old housecats. They live in small groups that are organized like small royal households. The Nekomata prefer to live in buildings in the demon world, mostly old looking houses that are magnificent from the inside.
Although Nekomata are rumored to have their paws in dirty businesses they could never be convicted. They are mostly appearing in their humanoid form, traditional Japanese clothings, behaving composed and calm, speaking in a soft and humble voice.
They like to dress up, wearing colorful clothes and pretty jewelry – a contrast to their catform which always has dull, grey fur.

Akako is the most aggressive of the heads. She normally keeps quiet and plays along, but whenever there is trouble she's the first to be sent in the fight. Akako is a skilled fighter and enjoys killing opponents and wearing part of their blood on her fur as decoration.
She followed Satoko's plan to become allies with Samael as she hated the dragons for destroying part of their old territories.
Akako was killed in the battle against Anubis' allies.
