Polar Explorer/Guide
Born and raised in the Southern Icefield, Tindalos was a weak flier when he was a hatchling. He was often in danger from the weather; one particularly bad blizzard tore him from his clan and almost buried him alive in the snow. He was rescued and made a full recovery, but after that, his clan saw him largely as a nuisance and didn't make much effort to hide their disdain for him.
Tindalos became determined not to be a burden, and when he was old enough, he found employ as a guide. His wings remained weak, but he was skilled in navigating the terrain, and he was able to guide traders and gatherers through the wilds of the Southern Icefield.
It was one of these gatherers, Frostlyn, who later hired him. Tindalos was fascinated by her own prosthetic wings and questioned her about them. The two soon parted ways, but the Coatl now had a new goal: to purchase his own mechanical wings so that he could guide others through the air as well.
He managed to save enough for some flight enhancers; he had also kept in touch with Frostlyn, and she put in a good word for him with her clan. Though Tindalos is now affiliated with the Disillusionists, he continues working as a guide. He remains in the Southern Icefield for much of the year, returning to the lair only for special occasions.
