Members of the Seeker Order from times long gone by, Ukardu and Vyth were considered dead when they failed to return to the Fortress after the disbanding of the Seekers. But the two are still very much alive. When the command came to vanish deep under the Southern Icefield, the pair decided their help was needed elsewhere. Ukardu and Vyth retreated deep into the caverns of Dragonhome instead. For there, far from the light, dangerous things roamed, things which needed to be contained. In the passing centuries, the pair patrolled and guarded their chosen prison faithfully. It was by pure happenstance that they learned of the gaolers return and the reinstatement for the Seeker Order, overheard from grave-robbers who went a little too deep where they shouldn’t have. After a long debate, they left their prison under the care of a few of their children and emerged into the sun once again. Ukardu and Vyth returned to their brethren to explain their absence. While not initially welcomed, their reasoning was eventually deemed sound. A new command of Keepers was sent to their Dragonhome prison, relieving their children of the duty to pursue other interests if they wished. As for Ukardu and Vyth, they have rejoined the Seekers. They have chosen to travel with Wuduweard in the interest of learning not only the changed landscapes but also the changed cultures which now fill Sornieth.
