"The scent of a 1000 dragons lingers in the air"

  • You stand to the side as the troops go marching by. The "fire fighters" the lightning clans mocked them as. The "fire fighters" they proudly wore on their bands. You march with them for a bit, trying to get the best view you could. You flutter ever so slightly into the air, and your heart joins you in the action.

    "There's so many." you mumble.

    The only times you've seen this many troops was when the Flamecaller herself called for war, but your noble mother has called for no one, nor has the Stormcatcher signaled for battle.

    It is only then that you hear the mumbling among the crowd. The questions going unanswered.
    "Do you know what they are fighting for?"
    "A clan that big heading to war with no warning with some lightning flight? This must be serious."

    Even when the soldiers disappear the questions still linger in the air, thick and uneasy.
