During a horrible earthquake in the Ruins rock dislodged and allowed Yon's Essence to slip into the world. Thinking he was a victim of the earthquake dragons rushed to help him. He repaid them by satisfying his hunger on their corpses. But it was not without consiquences. More dragons saw this and he was attacked. He managed to escape but not before being cursed by a Nature Touched druid who turned part of his very body to wood and stem. It will corrupt and consume his Essense and body unless he constantly regenerates.

Of Aiden's temptation Yon hunts the most of mid kind sized Hunter. Though his true hunger is often satisfied he must feed more on Essence to stave off his curse. Unlike his fellows he rarely charms his way to them. Rather he is a hunter in truth and will stalk his prey across steppe and over hills and craigs and attack from afar. His curse leaves him with difficulty to run anymore and that makes him even more frightening, to see a creature like him hobble towards you on stilted legs with a bow and a grin full of teeth.

When not on the hunt Yon spends his time back in the valley with the love of his soul Iorama. Before he found Eva Aiden was very jealous that Yon and Iorama had seemingly found their own soul bounds with little trouble at all. But because of Yon's condition it leaves him unable to bring his relationship with Io to anything beyond romantic intimacy which he has a lot of internalized self hatred about for his inability to give Io everything she deserves.

Lately Yon has started to plan a great hunt to return to the Ruins and find that druid who cursed him to remove the curse. And if they won't? Well he's stronger now with a powerful temptation behind him. The world won't miss one druid.
