Dyce
The beautiful coral that grows interrupted within the Sea of a Thousand Currents has recently become greatly endangered with the combination of the Tidelord's disappearance and the sudden changes in weather.
With constant threats looming above and below, some of the more resilient branches have, with the aid of sporadic pockets of magic, become sentient. When not focused on spreading and repopulating their treasured home, they'll do whatever they must to keep it safe.
Contrary to their brilliant-colored hides, those that live in the Fishspine Coral are excellent with sneak attacks, as many intruders don't notice their initial approach.
Sune prefer to overwhelm intruders by swarming, and it's rare to see one by itself. If swarming doesn't work, they use their wings, sometimes with magic, to agitate the water in an attempt to restrain them until backup arrives or the intruder surrenders.
When not busy with guard duties, they can be found lazily floating on the water's surface with their wings mostly outstretched, or curled up on a stray rock, to sunbathe.
