___Here is the thing about a curse as old as the deities: anyone with the knowledge and power who stands the slightest chance of lifting it are, alas, long dead. Children born to Ravaged dragons often find themselves afflicted with the same disease of a curse as their parents; it petrifies the dragon at a snail's pace, and the victim eventually loses the use of their limbs as their life slips away. For the lucky few who are born with a less lethal strain, experienced healers are able to seal it away, often leaving scars or distinctive markings behind. This won't completely cure the dragon of the disease but it will delay the onset. Most, however, aren't as fortunate.

It does help in intimidating the criminals he finds, however. >>The black crystals sprouting from his lithe body have made a kind of reinforced jaw, teeth included and made his antlers brittle. if they grow too large or long, they break under their own weight or at the slightest touch too far. Black and long claws growing over his natural ones make his pawshakes hurt the recipient. >>his numbing magics make it so that khaso feels nothing. his nerves cannot register anything at all unless extremely painful and when khaso has to stop casting the spell, for even a determined fae must rest their minds and body from extending casting, he stays in his alcove and shivers from overstimulating sensations and the pure agony that being a Ravaged causes. |
