I was brought into existence
By the lonely schemer’s will
To be your blackened, hidden rival

While few dragons knew my name

From her desire, I was born
Morgana, Morgana, that fading hope

Scheming, war cries, smog, and flame
I heard you first when you spoke my name
Cold steel, vengeance, souls that fall
In the darkness I heard your call

And I saw in you a brilliant fighter
Striking as the sun’s golden shine
And the world could not hope to stand
Before your sword or mine

And even in the heat of battle, I saw
That your mind was cool and clear
That even bound in bitter combat
In you resided no sliver of fear

Cold heart, treason, tragedy
Betraying your trust was my destiny
Your glory, your grace, your victory
Were burned into my last, fading memory

Dying confession, with words that shake
I told you the unfairness of my fate
How she didn’t care if I lived or died
After all, I was just a tool in her eyes

And my legacy will be forgotten
For no one brings justice to a traitor’s grave

They will only seek to blacken my name
