Meet Delphinium

Delphinium was once a revered oracle. She was visited by prophetic dreams of intense accuracy, leaving her the jewel in her clan's crown. She was said to be blessed by the Shadowbinder herself, and dragons from all across the tangled wood traveled to her, seeking wisdom.
She languished for years in her position, benefiting her clan with the insight of her visions. All her time was spent in secluded prayer, alone with her star-maps and tools of divination, being tended to by servants. Then, one day, the clan's leader called for Delphinium's guidance. She was summoned to his court, and he asked her his question- "How will I die?".
Delphinium's servants prepared the ritual, and she feel into a trance. Visions came to her, and she saw the clan's leader being killed and usurped by his rival. When she returned to consciousness, she told the clan leader what she saw.
The dragon was infuriated, and unable to accept her prophecy, he accused Delphinium of lying in their enemy's favor. She was thrown out, banished from the clan, and her name was besmirched. She traveled through the Tangled Wood's edges, but other clans had heard news of her exile and refused her entrance. In a night, she went from a respected seer to an outcast beggar.
With no purpose, she wandered from place to place. Her visions were little help, and she found herself mendicant for several years.
Eventually, she stumbled upon a massive cave while seeking shelter for the night. Finding it empty, she skulked inside and spent the evening tucked away amongst the stones. In the morning, she was awoken by a small group of dragons exploring the area.
Delphinium hurriedly packed her remaining things and went to leave before they could reprimand her, but was called back by the dragons' questioning voices. They offered her food and water, telling her that they didn't mind her presence and weren't going to make her leave, but asking why she was out in the woods all alone.
It had been so long since any kindness had been extended to her, and Delphinium burst into tears. She accepted their offer, and confessed to her past while she ate. After hearing her story, her new friends told her that they believed her, and she could stay with them for as long as she needed to.
And so, Delphinium was welcomed into her new clan with open arms. Her divine insights soon proved invaluable, and new opportunities to use her powers arose. Though being a seer rewarded her with much less luxury than her past life in her former clan, Delphinium found true happiness with her new family.
Delphinium is wise and intelligent, but her methods often come across as esoteric to other dragons. Because of her past, she's slow to trust and tends to alternate between being overtly closed off and overtly emotional towards her friends. Delphinium is sensitive to noise, and easily startled. Because of her introverted tendencies, her nest is tucked far away from most others.
Everything in Delphinium's hoard is arcane in nature- enchanted relics, magical sigils, haunted orbs, and items similar.
