Details

Lucent walks proudly and carries himself with a sense of arrogance, having a look in his eyes like he's silently judging everything and everyone around him. This seems to be an old habit from a personality that has since been washed away, however, as speaking with him reveals a manner that is quite tolerant and laid back, sometimes even meek. Indeed, if our personalities are shaped by our experiences, Lucent is all but a blank slate. Sometimes, on silent nights when he is alone with his thoughts, he can still feel within himself the echo of a jaded, almost rageful cynicism left behind by the person he used to be. He doesn't know if he'd like to return to that.

Although Lucent still has practical knowledge, like what animals are dangerous and what food is safe to eat, he has very little in the way of common sense. He will boldly throw himself into any situation with little regard for self preservation. Perhaps this is due to his absolute lack of wisdom, or perhaps he is just that hungry for new experiences.

History

The first thing Lucent remembers is breaking himself out of a glacier somewhere within the Frigid Floes. It was as if he were a hatchling emerging from an icy egg... Except he was an adolescent, knew his name and where he was, and had the most bitter taste in his mouth. For however long he was trapped in that glacier, he knew he had been conscious the whole time. Thinking, planning, plotting... But at the same time as his body was revived, as warm blood ran through his veins once again, all thoughts and memories were being flushed out. As his lungs filled with frigid air for the first time in unknown decades, his mind was filled with only one thought.
