Res is a master somnimancer along with his husband Yaz. Together, they create beautiful dream worlds for the slumbering residents of Melody Town. He and Yaz live almost exclusively within their worlds, other dragons having only seen the two in their dreams. Res himself is ancient, and has been around so long that he has vague memories of the city whose ruins became Melody Town. However, he hardly remembers his life before meeting Yaz.
