Swift was born in a workshop. Her early days of consciousness were muddy images of a goggle clad Spiral, old, tattered machinery and heaps of scrap metal, while her creator worked to make Swift's mind and body what it is today. Her wings were designed for speed, her form aerodynamic. The old dragon poured all his time and effort into her making.
And then he sold her to make some more mechanical dragons. Thus she entered the possession of Project. Swift started off in a Field Unit, because that was what they needed the most. During the time she was with Project, she started to notice a few things. Friends or acquaintances disappearing after a minor injury, never to be heard of again, rumors of a resistance growing right under their noses. Swift tried not to think of what that meant. But as she climbed the ranks and eventually joined an infiltration team, the suspicious activity continued. Her best friend at Project was Amber, a tiny green and gold Fae android who occupied a minor role in intelligence. They often worked together, but it was not for work that she came to her one night, looking all out of sorts. She pulled her into an empty room, far from prying ears. “They upped my security clearance,” she said “Okay?” “The resistance, FL/GHT? Not just a rumor. Not our enemies either.” “What do you mean not our enemies? They’re trying to dismantle our organization!” “Exactly.” “What?” “You can’t say you didn’t notice.” “Again, what?” “Saber. Last week, arm half ripped off. Moontide, displaced internal circuits. Astreus, Eri, Static,” She enumerated, “You know what they all had in common?” “‘Had’? They’re not dead, Amber.” “Yes they are! None of them had life endangering injuries, yet no one has seen them since.” “That doesn’t mean—.” “Swift. Sometimes it’s easier to replace than fix.” Silence. “Oh.” (I'll complete it later but basically the rest of the story is: they make a plan to get in contact with FL/GHT and act as inside agents, but before they can put it in place Swift is injured and she has to escape without telling Amber, who thinks she died. Amber joins FL/GHT, as does Swift. Amber is discovered by Project and has to leave. Right after that, Swift manages to access Project files that state Amber as deceased. They later reunite) Personality - This is where you put the odd stuff about your dragon. Hobbies, traits, weird quirks, etc. Mate - Let’s hear about your dragons mate! Or maybe their mates? If they have no mate(s) then feel free to brag about their friends! Or perhaps complain about their enemies? Clan Role - What does your dragon do for a living? Are they a hoarder? A merchant?
