GENETRIX was born a drone, but slowly gained CONSCIOUSNESS, and she struck out from her old hive at the first chance she could take. On her journeys, the winds led the hatchling of a CONSCIOUSNESS to the Frigid Floes, where she met 01, an abandoned STRANGE hijackerdrone. Despite what she could hear of 'perfection' on the wavelength most CONSCIOUSNESSES used, she found herself accepting the failed assimilation of a STRANGE, knowing if she didn't, she may risk losing her fragile life. The nocturne seemed to be fully able to hunt for itself, but there was a part of her that knew the Nocturne would listen, if she gave it reason to. 01 guided her at first on who to assimilate, not stopping her once in her quest to collect a hive. There are many times, though, when she finds that drones from other hives have wandered into her own territory.. She does not question this, knowing not of the tensions that rise among the other hives, simply thinking that they too, were abandoned. GENETRIX claims these drones as her children, despite knowing full well they are not. For some reason, she finds the endearment to be comforting, knowing that they will rely on her, and she, on them... As a family would.
