BIO

Omite is the arcane professor, as well as teaching literature. She's a Seeker order Gaoler, and is the dragon in charge of maintaining the borders of the school. During the day, Omite seems almost distracted, but that is due to her spells making her constantly aware of dragons who pass through the boundaries of the school. She rarely sleeps, but rarely needs to, and her nightly vigils are strict enough to discourage students from attempting to sneak out, or into places they shouldn't.

Omite's teaching style is chaotic, but arcane is a chaotic magic. She is increadibly strict with her students, but that is mostly due to the increadibly dangerous nature of arcane magic. Her classroom for teaching arcane magic is high in one of the school's watchtowers, and her students constantly complain at it's distance from other mainly-used parts of the school. The literature classroom is situated close to the library. Omite is a far more forgiving as literature professor than an arcane professor, but that is due to the fact that it is hard to truly make a mistake in literature class, and what mistakes are made do not have disastrous or deadly consequences.

Omite is the professor that is closest to Cygnus, having once been his teacher and the dragon who found him after his return from his disastrous expedition into the south. The two are often seen talking together, and Omite is likely one of few dragons that Cygnus considers a friend.
