Biography

First Generation of GW series, code n3th. Deep inside, Gwen is still proud of that. Although she knows that here at FL/GHT, it doesn't mean anything.

And yet, she still somehow carries her given name. GW1-n3th is who she was, and part of who she is. The name the others call her, Gwen, wasn't decided on by chance. She didn't pick it, either, but someone who knows that she doesn't feel wrath when thinking of Project. Someone whom she entrusted her secret to - so she can't exactly say she didn't nudge him in the right direction.

GW1-n3th was proud to be called a masterpiece of Project. Being compared to the other androids of GW1, all made with the very same procedures, close to a hundred of them, and still being the one to stick out. The best sagacity and the swiftest movements were her traits, the pursuit of perfection rentless, but it paid off.
If you have something good at your hands, you continue to enhance it. Project experimented, never on her, always on the weakest of GW1. The message couldn't have been more clear: get stronger or get out. GW1-n3th didn't have to worry. She only got the finished enhancements, functional and elegant. And then some day, she was the only one left.
Until she wasn't.

GW2. While she'd been fighting for her life and her pride, Project had developed a new generation of her series. Younger dragons, fully geared with all her enhancements. GW1-n3th was mad at first, but she quickly overcame it. The fact that they hadn't yet experimented on her meant something. She still had a chance to prove herself. It would be hard, but she knew she could do it.

Second place was all she could reach. And still, that was pretty nice. Any dragon above her could only be called a genius, and heck, he was. She learned a lot just from watching him.
The day they were the only ones left, she expexted to be greeted by a room of metallic instrumens, designed to cut into her flesh. What she saw instead was GW3, and she thanked whichever dragon god would hear it for her rescue.

It got even harder from there on, but GW3 wasn't her GW1. There were constant fights, nothing but hissing at each other, and what once was friendly rivalry had turned into hatred. GW1-n3th had a feeling that she should make friends with the mechanic crew.
The second day of test, a GW3 Spiral tripped her. Only sheer luck and a certain mechanic saved her from being the next subject for the experiments.

That was when she realised two things: first, the ice was getting thin for her. She might survive this generation if Project was curious how far she could go, and maybe the next, but GW5 would certainly be her grave. Second, it was only a question of time until some incident would happen, one of the kind that could possibly take her to the top. It was a test of her patience and abilities.

GW1-n3th almost laughed at how easy it was to give the best of GW3 a nudge every now and then. She would sigh about GW2 in their presence - they only kept her around because she was fourth in ranks, but that was more that enough - and how even their stances were being threatened. She of course wasn't saying anything, being fourth only meant she was going to be experimented on sooner or later, but what if they only left two of them again to face the next generation? No, of course when GW2 suddenly showed up, there were still two of them. And shade, if they were so close in strength that they constantly switched places, who said that GW2 wasn't just waiting for a chance to surpass them both? Yes, exactly as he'd done with her...

A final nudge was all it took to end all three of them in a flash. GW1-n3th had earned herself a breather. With no one fit to hold a candle to her, she was comfortable Number one for a while. Soon there were only two of them left, and finally it was only her, and she dreamed she'd shown Project that it was pointless to try and create an android better than her.
The morning they introduced her to GW4 was the night she took flight.
Pun not intended.

It was only Gwen from then on, her and her friend from the mechanic crew. The one to hatch the plan with her, the one to give her her new name. She holds no hard feelings for Project. Still, she had to go before it was too late to save herself. There was nothig she could do for those other dragons, they had to shift for themselves.
...was what she thought.

FL/GHT picked them up and Gwen was thrilled. She would get to be safe and keep a close eye on Project and the GW series at the same time. She took the test for the diplomat faction and passed with flying colors, allowing her to do exactly that.
Just... teaching others was the one fire she dreaded. She tried that with GW1. It didn't work. Period.
Talking with dragons that looked at her like she'd come straight from a sci-fi fantasy wasn't exactly her dream job, either. The intelligence faction dragons were nice, but... she just didn't get along with their mindset. Why, she had no idea.
Shortly after the first few tries, they came to the realization that diplomacy, while she was good at it, wasn't where she belonged. Gwen, after a friendly but stern talk with her no-longer-mechanic friend, hesitantly switched to Field.
She couldn't be happier.

Working together with the rescue faction is a whole different story. It's easy for her to sneak up to Project's labs with a team of rescue - granted, not as easy as for them - and persuade the occasional curious dragon to come with them, 'break free', as the others so kindly put it. She still doesn't hate Project, but some things are better kept a secret. Who knows if they would allow her back if she told them.
...maybe they would, seeing as her friend is the group leader. But she really doesn't want to rely on that.

It's a dangerous life she's living, and she loves every second.
