The Sea elves are the first elven variant and the 'root' of all current elves. After ascending to dragonkin the elves first took to the sea, where they could live in peace from the dragons of Sornieth and their deities. The elves built beautiful, slender ships to carry them, travelling wherever the wind took them. Their colors took to match the blue-green waters around them, while their filigree often displays bold colors to impress their tribemates.
