Biography

Art will replace imgN7JMlPl.gif A blue Nocturne laid in a small room decorated with candles and loose notes as well as a small feathery nest in the corner. In front of her laid a desk with a beaker and lines of vials next to it, all empty except for one, which contained a green liquid. Looking between the book in her hand and the beaker, she took a deep breath and took the last vial in between her claws.

"At last, it's almost complete..." The starry-blue Nocturne mumbled to herself, eyeing the beaker holding a light grey liquid that was sitting before her. Carefully tilting the vial and pouring the green liquid into the beaker, she watched as the light grey turned into a murky green. Looking back at her book, full of various scribbles and wonky handwriting, she couldn't help but smile.

"Everything has been working just as planned! I've finally done it, I've made a potion of immortality!" She cheered, thrusting her arms in the air in celebration.

After a moment, she threw the vial and book on the ground and hastily grabbed the beaker, holding it up to her mouth and chugging down the murky green liquid. Gagging a bit at the muddy taste, she set the beaker back on the desk and awaited what would come next.

But nothing ever came.

"... Ah, yeah. I suppose if I were to create a potion of immortality, I wouldn't be able to know if it worked until I tried to take my own life." The Nocturne chuckled, looking out her window to see the sun beginning to set.

"I'll head to bed to work on my next step!" She concluded cheerfully. Hopping onto her nest, she could hardly contain her excitement for tomorrow and if her experiment had worked.

When the Nocturne opened her eyes, she felt giddiness fill her chest. Today would be the day she put her potion to the test, and she felt confident in its effects. Hopping out of her nest, she felt her heart drop as she noticed the room around her was much smaller than normal.

In a sense of panic, the Nocturne flew out of her little home and soared to a nearby lake. She didn't feel any abnormal changes in her body, but her height surely had changed overnight.

Landing next to the body of water, she leaned up to it and took in her reflection. Her assumptions were correct; she didn't grow or lose anything. But her appearance overall had changed. She had become a lot smaller, and also had a rounder and 'cuter' appearance.

"I've... de-aged?" She blinked, looking up from the lake in pure shock. In her view did she spot a wandering dragon nearby, and scrambled towards them.

"Excuse me! Excuse me! I need your help!" The Nocturne cried.

The dragon, which upon closer inspection she found was a Tundra, looked surprised at her sudden request but smiled warmly at the small dragon.

"Why hello, small fry! Now, what's your name? Did you lose your parents?" The Tundra crotched down to see eye-to-eye to the Nocturne.

"I did not! My name is Luna! I'm not a child, I was experimenting with potions last night but I somehow did this!" The nocturne gestured to her body.

"I made myself shrink! I look like a child, but trust me, I'm not! Please, you have to help me!" Luna pleaded.

The Tundra laughed sheepishly.

"Oh, the youth and their imagination... I miss that. I'm sorry kiddo, but I'm kind of running on time here. Maybe you should ask your parents." The Tundra waved her goodbye and walked off before Luna had any time to say anything else.

Blinking in shock, she looked down at her hands. They felt small, even at her new height.

"What am I going to do... It seemed to have worked but, is it worth living forever if I'm stuck living as a child?" The Nocturne mumbled.

"... I'll have to do further testing."
