a tale of a monster that wasn't

HISTORY

Kaliwa (Kal) the left head, Gitna (Gina) the middle head, and Kanan (Kana) the right head. These are three imperials that make up Kaiserin.

Before her transformation into an abomination. Kaiserin was not very different from any other imperial dragon. The three sisters as with all imperials did not get along in life. Kali the oldest, was a hunter and prone to outburst when her plans were not followed to the letter. Gi the middle born, tended to the young of the clan with her patronizing patience. And Kana the youngest, was a skilled gather and craftsman.

Their death was the result of a disagreement that went too far. A vague memory of them fighting over who needed to leave their overcrowded clan. The wounds they inflicted on each other were too deep and they succumbed to blood loss.

They do not know how much time had passed since their death, only that upon awakening they remember nothing and only felt anger. They wandered in search, attacking anything that cross their path. Eventually they came upon Anders as he tended to the hatchlings. Watching him, Gi remembered something beyond her anger. She remembered the joy of teaching hatchlings to fly, seeing the uninhibited joy as they soared through the heavens.

Flashes of their old life came and the three felt grief over their death. Lost and with no where else to go they followed the coatl back to Skybound. The clan greeted them wearily, all knew the stories of the destruction an Emperor could do. Kaiserin reasoned with the leaders to let them stay promising no harm upon their clan.

In death the three sisters have become inseparable, literally. Unable to escape each other they managed to work out their differences and have found themselves regretting not spending more time with each other in life.

The sisters are prone to violent outburst and easy to anger but if one is careful they are friendly enough for an emperor.
