Calm? The song of the wrong?
Dance of the midsummer swan

Digity midget
Splattered on pallet
To cast a ballet
And rise from racket
Pause! Quiet! Peace!
Peace? In land of decease?
Wail of sirens and police
Fear is forever a piece
Nighty FL/GHT

Rescue
Ja.X awoke to a world of light, not just in the literal sense but the figurative one. His creator fawned over him, making sure he was always working perfectly, and experiencing no discomfort. He payed her back by giving everything she asked, no matter how small, 100%. But as he lived in comfort he noticed others were not so lucky. He picked up information in the hallways from careless tongues and learned of what others suffered and how much his creator shielded him from. He did not perform to what they considered optimal, he didn't just follow orders to the letter, he went with the method he deemed most effective, and least harmful. PROJECT hated his free will but they tolerated him because his creator was a sun of innovation that lit up unseen paths. But she burned too bright to be contained to the narrow focus they had given her and, against their wishes, she began to dive into magic. She put everything she learned into his data-bank, trusting him completely to protect her hard work, and to improve upon it with her. But he recalled the others who suffered while he was safe and hatched a plan to use her work; but didn't tell her. He did not think she could understand, after all, she didn't see the other androids suffer and didn't seem to realize they were so like him; they had freewill. He didn't think he could convince her to help so he plotted alone. When she was away and he had carefully set the stage of sabotage, he struck. His power was unlike they'd ever seen for they were fearful to try to harness it. He supposed he proved they were right to be concerned. He freed android after android after android before they finally caught him. This had been the most dangerous part of his plan; dying. They needed to think he was dead so he let his body be scrapped while he hid his consciousness in a piece of himself that he had placed in one of the escapees. He controlled his body remotely and made it appear he was still there. There was an unintended side effect though, he felt everything that happened to his body, and could do naught but silently scream in agony as his body was dismantled. He regained proper function when the androids he freed repaired his body to the best of their abilities. He had been ecstatic over how well his plan had gone, even if it had hurt A LOT, until he looked into the status of his creator; Dead. He went digging immediately, no, the story was that someone had sabotaged him while she was away and he was in recharge mode, they wouldn't have killed her for something she wasn't responsible for, would they? But no matter how much information he dug through, even risking himself to download straight from their data base, he found nothing but the words: DEAD. Ja.X had never experienced the pain that wracked him when that word sunk in, not even from the scrapper. The other androids didn't understand "She would have replaced you" "She was PROJECT, whatever you think she felt, she didn't, trust me" "The less PROJECT scientists the better, you're just in shock". He heard the sentiment over and over and over but he knew it wasn't true. He eventually left simply because he couldn't stand it anymore, they would never understand. He continued to help from the shadows, misdirecting PROJECT away from places he knew androids took shelter, and when he learned of FL/GHT he tried to make holes in security for them. But he didn't join them, the sentiments of the ones he rescued still fresh in his mind. He had no doubt FL/GHT shared such sentiments as well. He was alone. An android who had loved his creator, who was from PROJECT, would be seen as deranged. But he has no choice now, his body old, and creaking. It's either he finds safe haven with FL/GHT or PROJECT captures him and he would never give them his creators secrets after what they have done. He only hopes FL/GHT aren't a lesser evil.
