Crumbles apearance has changed over time.
From birth to his imprisonment (the second time). The order of the Seeker- and most of his mane- is over his right eye.

During his imprisonment (the first time). Shardflank is removed, small shards still hidden by his fur. He also encounters the Shade, accepting it's bargain. His right sclera turns black.

After his escape from jail the second time. Sees a shaman( or whoever re-genes dragons) and takes up a new appearance.

. .Surrendered to the Gaolers at the Dripcave Dregs at hatching.
. .Shows incredible proficiency in Ice magic and is considered a possible candidate to be a Sentinel. Training falls through when he is unable to cast strong warding spells, and he requests to be a Seeker so that he may still use his training to work to contain the Shade.
. .At the Order ceremony it manifests in an erroneous space, branding itself upon his eye. It has no visual effects but Crumble's sight changed. From his right eye he is able to see a representation of a dragons soul much like a practiced Seer can. Infinitely useful with his Seeker work, he is recruited onto jobs that have been deemed too difficult to complete. His physical and magical abilities soar with the advanced practice.
. .After his partner Oleander died he was brought into custody under suspicion he had killed her. He harbors resentment for a single Imperial involved in her murder that got away. With his release from the gaol slipping from his sight he accepts a deal with an 'intelligent' Shade group and leaves the Dregs unimpeded.
. . He meets Riser, an old guardian who claims him to be his charge. He extends an offer to stay in a small camp, which he gladly accepts. The Shade is all too eager to join Riser, encouraging Crumble to interact with others.
