- only close friends know they are actually quite the chatterbox except catching up with all the language changes it difficult
- friends with the immortal Gorrien who catches him up to speed whenever he ends up traveling
- equal in strength with Gorrien but Shinrin basically has rabies
- The less you care the more you loose yourself, and he is loosing
- has a an ill-advised hobby of trying to summon anything he can get his hands on the ritual for
- likes to haunt homes sometimes, just slams doors and yells boo in 'borrowed' voices a ton though
- started keeping a diary after loosing his memories for the first time (he bothered someone he really shouldn't have)
- occasionally doodles a full page of summoning symbols till whatever dammed creature shows up in front of him and get this really defeated look on their face the moment they see him
- for the love of god don't tell him your name
- is mentioned in a LOT of prophesies but rarely follows through is he's the 'good guy'
- at first glance appears just like a fae but over time degrades very slowly till you realize (probably too late) that this is not a fae anymore and had you seen clearly it couldn't be recognized as one at all
- close up you can see the slip ups like his ever-shifting genes, occasionally appearing feathered wings and teeth that look a little different every-time he smiles
- when nervous/unsettled basically anything bad and painful goes to hang around Gorrien's silently and rearrange their stuff (they don't mind, Shinrin usually ends up making it prettier and apologizes if he breaks things) and much on some of their home grown lemons
