As the eldest of Shadow and Malice's kids, Algae was destined for greatness. When she wasn't playing with her younger siblings, she could always be found wandering behind her parents.


While her brother gained an interest in the clans hoard, and as her sister dreamt of big adventures, Algae would soak up all she could learn about the clan, how it was led, how everything worked and so.

Though as she got more and more into the inner cogs of how the clan worked, she made sure to set aside time to help her siblings out with their goals. When Cocoa was starting his trips to the crossroads, she'd come along, helping him carry his goods. And as Honeydew started going on her adventures, Algae was there as a willing companion, enjoying the sights as they travelled.

During one of their trips, Algae discovered her own passion, taking an interest in the different brightly coloured flora they often saw, and the vibrant dyes and paints she learned to make rom them. It started small, a few clippings here and there during each adventure, and soon grew to the point where she has a lush garden filled with all sorts of fun, colourful plants, back in Willowsong, to be used as in her collection of paints and dyes.


Nowadays, as her parents are nowhere near retiring, Algae can be found taking part in her siblings adventures, helping where she can, while sneaking away to add whatever new plants she's found into her garden.
