______________ Children of the Quickdraw Gang grow up in a household-- or as much of a household an encampment comprised of flimsy tents under a sky full of stars can get-- full of what can more or less be described as sheer chaos.

Most choose to embrace the same life of crime their parents did but a few do seek a different path, chasing a fate that won't end up with them shot and bleeding out in some deity-forsaken ravine somewhere.

Their parents care little about what each hatchling eventually decides for themselves; this indifferent world will be neither the better nor the worse for it.


>> realises his calling lies not in the wild wastelands but somewhere rather... unexpected. two years after his parents find his bed empty and his belongings gone, Jai turns up on the borders of a small kingdom and is hired as a member of the guard.
