MeiLily loudly bangs on your cell. "Wake up." She doesn't wait for you to drag your body up off the cold undersea floor before slamming down a tray with various tiny foodthings on it. Great, another grumpy prison warden. Wait. Is that a star-shaped apple slice? Why is it that even the circle-cracker is colorful and animal shaped? You ask MeiLily and she tells you with a grunt that "Would you rather plain food? Is that to your liking your majesty?" So you decide to let it drop.

MeiLily often shops around the isles for the ward. Not because the ward needs anything she buys, but because otherwise this Gaoler would die of boredom. Sometimes she'll take on patrol duty for the Isles and go into Shipwreck Cove to fight shadlings for fun. She's used to much, much more action and dueling tasks throughout her day and is completely unaware of how to fill her time now that she has some.

Sometimes you can find MeiLily in the pubs. She tells horror stories about all the shade monsters she's faced before. It's graphic. The locals wish she would stop scaring their hatchlings (yes definitely the hatchlings and not them) with her tales.
