A son of two witches, a descendant of the Nightcallers, Noro had many expectations placed on his young shoulders. Or at least, that's how he perceived it.

He was disappointed and ashamed to not have inherited the magic that blessed his grandmother's line, and wasn't strong enough to be a warrior like his grandfather, and the family's reapers.

However, Noro soon found he had a penchant for alchemy, and took to studying under his uncle, Okkervil (whom most of the family denotes as suspicious and weird, but Noro doesn't mind his quirks).
