B I O G R A P H Y
The tight confines of the pathway were broken by a large central cavern, viral mushrooms and ooze pulsating against the walls and dripping sloppily down onto the ground. The luminescent green ooze dripped onto his shoulder, sizzling as it burned the cloth, he took no note of it and paced into the center of the great hall. A large table stretched across the center of the cavern, littered with stacks of books and alchemical ingredients, long broken chairs surrounded the table and he kicked a crumbling piece of quartz out of his way. He reached forward, resting his front talons upon the table as his gaze scanned a withering scroll that lay across the table, a vial of ink spilling over the topmost of the paper. "Utterly useless," he hissed, his voice rumbling softly across the cavern. He dug his talons into the sheet of paper and in one motion tore sideways, ripping the paper and watching it wither away from his toxic touch. "You have company, Master," a hoarse voice chuckled behind him and he turned, his gaze laying on his familiar with a glare. The visage within the mirror giving him a toothy grin. "Of what kind, beast?" He growled, his smooth voice echoing throughout the hall. "A dragoness, my Lord, one with Mother's touch," the demon in the mirror spoke, emphasizing the final words it spoke. He tensed, it was not often he had encountered another of his kind. Curiosity commanded him and he dragged himself back up the cavern, the walls closing in once more as he passed through the narrow space back up to the plaza. He flung out his wings and flew above the cavern entrance, balancing upon a skeletal rib which stuck out violently from the hillside. He turned, laying his gaze upon the dragon who stood in the plaza, a Bogsneak by the looks of it. "Aah, a monstrosity, I see," he mused to himself, grinning at the drake. As if sensing his gaze she whipped around, locking her scarlet eyes with his glowing gaze, she hissed a warning in his direction. "How rude.." he spoke to himself softly, frowning at the fellow Necromancer. "I suppose I shall have some fun with her," he spoke while chuckling, giving a light flick of his tail. Ghastly beasts charged out of the cavern at the dragoness, displaying bones and sinew among the vile ooze that coated their bodies. "This shall be a mercy." |
