Neo was born to a pair of Nightcallers, as most of his kind. He quickly showed mastery with his might when he was joining the hunt for food in the electric land he called home. He had been brought to be shown how to hunt, but the dragonet managed to kill the prey himself, whizzing a scythe around faster than any dragon could track. Naturally, Neo's clanmates sent the dragonet off to be trained in the Tangled Wood most Nightcallers had at least visited. There, the young Imperial discovered a clan nestled in a fungal grove, and thinking they were hostile, charged in. The dragons of the grove were startled to see the young Imp with a comically large scythe charging them, but became much less amused when the dragonet nearly killed one of their most battle-hardened warriors, Plaugedancer. The Skydancer managed to subdue Neo, leaving it up to the clan to decree his fate. After time, they learned why Neo had come to their forest, to their grove. He wanted to learn the ways of Nightcallers none by, and follow the path of Urban, an ancestor from long ago. Knowing this, the clan decided to help the dragon learn, and keep him as his power grew. Perhaps he would save them all, someday.. |

It follows Neo everywhere and however he tries to get rid of it, it stays. He's given up and some may claim he loves the antelope. He denies these, but some of the clan have seen him warming up to the small creature. |

Always curious, Neo manages to get into trouble an awful lot more than most dragons his age. He has stuck his snout many places it didn't belong and only manages to get out due to the abyssal howl of the Nightcallers and their skill in reaping souls of those who dare meddle with the Nightcallers. He is very sweet to few dragons, but one in particular, Delphine, always manages to get this kindness into the air. Neo disliked this at first, but as time wore on, he learned it wasn't always a bad thing. Delphine is the only dragon he lets use his scythe other than himself, and this means a great deal. Neo's nature calls for him to explore, and of course, he follows it. It was what led him to his new, adopted Clan, and it still beckons to him with its long talons. He oftentimes finds interesting things while wandering, like a broken shrine to the Shadowbinder and a mossy runestone with the seal of the Lightweaver on it. He thought nothing of the rune and offered it to Shadowbinder, who enhanced his scythe as thanks for spreading the shadows into the light. |
