In a land far and wide,
Where dragons roam with pride,
There lived one named The Firebrand,
With wildling flames did he command.

He loved to play with fire,
Tinkering with alchemy for hours,
Always up to something new,
His mind burning with infernal powers.

His mother warned him of the danger,
Of his fiery ways, his need and desire,
But that never stopped The Firebrand,
From acting on his whims, the need to do so dire.

With scales burnt with his own blood,
And eyes that glowed like embers,
The Firebrand ruled over his domain,
Breathing flames and causing mayhem.

He was never bored,
Always seeking out new things to explore,
His fiery breath lighting up the sky,
And his laughter echoing through the moors.

But even as he played with fire,
And caused destruction all around,
The Firebrand's heart was pure,
His love for his mother unbound.

For even though she chided him,
For his destructive ways and wild whims,
The Firebrand knew she loved him,
And that her words were meant in kin.

So, he continued on his burning path,
A dragon both feared and adored,
A true master of the scorching flame,
Whose legacy would forever endure.

And though the Firebrand roamed free,
He kept his promises to a degree,
The Phoenix would watch over her son, The Firebrand,
With a love and pride that could never be denied.

Sygillus is my favorite of your lair, because he immediately gives you a ton of personality when looking at him. He looks like he's definitely been up to things, is probably up to something now, and is likely already planning to be up to something else. A dragon that is never bored - and I REALLY want to know his story! His apparel and accent combination is so weird, not something I'd ever expect to see together, but it's not unpleasant and starts to grow on you as you ponder just who he is. LOVE dragons that feel like they have depth to them. This guy is great!

I usually love busy designs, but Sygillus has such an unique look that I could not leave him out. I've never would have imagined that I'd ever see those colors, genes, apparels and the skin together, but now we're here and the combination is amazing. He has a sinister touch to him and therefore I can't decide whether the red fur is a coat (as metallic would indicate) or the result of a failed experiment.
