Describe what happens next. Were they excited to see each other. Did they decide to go their separate ways or do the same activities together. "Mm?" Old Kyuchan turned around. "Oh, Aurelie! They told me you'd gone out somewhere, but I didn't think it'd be here....I thought someone as interested in treasure as yourself might've gone over to that game run by the Mirror. Fortune's Game of...Fortune? Hmmm."

"Master Faustino is handling that one" -- probably very badly, Aurelie thought. The great Imperial didn't make friends easily. She wondered if she'd hear his screams of fury later on.

Kyuchan saw how she craned her head this way and that. The aged Coatl's face softened. "It's your first Carnival, is it?"

Aurelie nodded. She didn't notice, but her mouth was actually half-open in an eager smile.

Kyuchan grinned back. "I haven't been to one of these in years, but I think I've still got it in me to take on some of the games. You'd like that? --Maybe a little souvenir? Well, come on, young Aurelie, and let's try our luck! Your extraordinary nose led you here, so perhaps there is treasure to be had...."
