shadowv2.png Agate's childhood was dark. Her father, Carnelian, a trained assassin, is often away from home to make his living. Her mother, Chrysocolla, makes poisons, often for Carnelian's line of work, or sometimes to sell for a profit. Agate and her siblings quickly grew accustomed to the death that their parents brought, and where commonly on the move to escape vigilantes and vengeful family members of Carnelian's victims. Usually, they preferred dark places like caves or tree hallows. Their official home of Carnelian and Chrysocolla's home is the Clan of the Moonlight Caverns, although they don't quite know about their dark work, so the couple and their offspring spent a lot of time away from the clan.
Agate takes after her parents, especially her mother. She was somewhat favored by Chrysocolla, who took Agate and spent hours teaching the fascinated child about various poisons, their effects, and how to make them. Agate has learned to live off the land, using the glowing shrooms of the shadowy forest she calls home to craft lethal substances. Now, as an adult, she's hoping to become a traveling merchant of sorts, selling her poisons to those who can make use of them, or to even settle down in a clan that will use and accept her craft.
