She's the sunlight that filters through the high ceiling of the great forest, the protective sun that wraps her beloved ones with warm wings - almost too protective, almost restricting.

Kokiri's wings are large, but she flies quickly and lightly, flitting to and fro almost like a Fae. She's the first one to protect and to shelter, to nurture and right a wrong. Despite her age, Kokiri is and has always been childlike. She has a childlike sense of wonder, always in awe of new places and things, new dragons and new experiences.

She thought she had grown when she took the Arcane Skydancer as her mate. They were sweet together, but even the longest and warmest season never lasts. She won't say what happened, but sometimes she closes her eyes and hums a tune, her childlike happiness fading and a sad maturity shining through.

Kokiri lost something after that, and words stopped coming easily to her. She doesn't speak much about the time after that either, but now she laughs easier, an airy noise that carries warmth on the wind.

Perhaps she'll always be childlike. But she's looking for happiness; for courage, for wisdom. She's looking to regain her words, to learn how to speak easily again without the anxiety of feeling like she should be more mature.

Perhaps she'll always be childlike. She just hopes she can be at peace with that.
