Sam is the leader of the Warrior Guild of the Schattentänzer clan. He is often found taking new recruits into the Mire and helping them on their way to become servants of the Shadowbinder. When he is not training young dragons he likes to scroll through the woods and explore the nature there. Sam is easily amazed by the glowing fungi at night in the Wispwillow Grove. But sometimes the glow reminds him of the glow of the lava in his birthland and he becomes sad. When that happens his mate Rogaldorn takes him hunting with him as spending time with his mate and caring for the clan that took him in never fails to lighten up Sams mood. 		firev2.png

★★★ HISTORY
Sam hatched from a lonely egg in the Emberglow Hearth. This alone was a reason the clan the egg appeared in was wary towards the little Nocturne. When Sam grew up and his colors stayed somewhat dull, the clan decided he must be a bad omen, like the legends said, and exiled him. The young Nocturne couldn't stand staying in the Ashfall Waste as he did not want to be near the dragons that turned against him from the very start of his life. So he flew north. The Sea of Thousand Currents was to wet for his fiery nature and he continued his journey to the Tangled Woods. As Sam admired the strange nature of the woods he met Rogaldorn, the hunter of the Schattentänzer Clan. He took Sam to his clan and Sam was welcomed warmly by the dragons that lived there. Sam was amazed to see so many different dragons of all colors and breeds live together and after getting approval of Nala, the clans leader, he decided to stay with the Schattentänzer clan. Rogaldorn quickly noticed that the Nocturne was quite unhappy with his dull colors as they reminded him of his old life. He took Sam to Baldwin and he gifted the Nocturne with a Capsule and a Pinstripe Scroll. On the way back to the clan they found a Butterfly scroll in the woods and Sams new look was nearly completed. Sam took all of the gems he earned from selling things he collected during his jouney and bought himself a Coatl scroll. With this he finally felt like he could leave his unhappy childhood behind and start a new life in the Tangled Woods as a colorful Coatl. 		3APoeXm.png
