Indavar, Warrior of her clan
Indavar stepped with care, placing each foot down while avoiding broken banners, torn fabric, and fallen bodies that she didn't want to crush further. The sight of war for miles brought tears to her eyes, a glassy sheen forming over her gaze, but she refused to cry. She had to be strong, and if she wasn't strong, more would die.
"Indavar" A sharp, gravelly voice tore her from her sorrowed thoughts, and she turned. Phobos, an imperial that was slightly bigger than her, had his eyes on the desolation. His face was creased into a frown, and she followed his gaze to a couple of fallen kin, who even in their size could not stop the Shade. She felt a pang of empathy, and approached, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"They have not died in vain, Phobos." Shaking his head, he shrugged off her hand, and looked away.
"We need to warn the Plaguebringer. It is moving fast, she must evacuate her colony. Indavar's brow furrowed in confusion.
"She does not like visitors, you know she will most likely strike us down, and ignore the warning-"
"No, she knows this is serious. She will listen, or we at least have to try." Crouching down on his haunches, Phobos leapt into the air, and reluctantly, Indavar did the same.
The heart of a warrior, Indavar is a guardian that uses her size to her advantage, often bounding into battle to shield smaller dragons from the enemy. Her hide is war-torn, eyes half blind from the claws of ignorant mirrors, but she still puts others before herself, and is willing to die for her flight. However, after the Shade's attacks, she has been focusing on trying to drive it out of dragon lands. She could feel the fear of others weighing down on her back, and she knew she at least had to do something. Even Phobos, the God of War, could not stop the Shade alone. At least with her there, they had more of a chance.
