emotionless angel who doesn’t care about anyone or anything. being emotionless doesn’t mean he’s closed off or mysterious, it just means that he has no care in the world. he's an angel of immortality, and has been since the start of everything, basically. he used to be kind and caring once upon a time but since then, he's learnt not to feel after losing so many loved ones throughout his entire life. now, he's not cold or mean to anyone, he's just distant and never lets himself get attached to people. he barely remembers who he used to be and is now just an emotionless angel, drifting between worlds and living life by himself. he's content with his life now, as content as he can be without feeling, but what he doesn't know is that deep inside, hidden under the fear of losing people, he still longs for someone to love. He looks out into the ocean, the waves crashing upon the beach. He sits there, alone, surrounded by the misty seabreeze. "Why am I like this?" he asks himself. He stares at the setting sun and the stars in the sky. He gets up, walks away, and never looked back at the calm sea. "Listen and learn," they say. Cael pays no mind to them. "Take my advice," they say. Cael shakes his head and stomps off. Why would he, an angel, ever need to care about anyone? or anything? Life never mattered to him. What was the point? The stars lead his path, not the spiteful words of others. The faeries look at him, displeased with his actions and tone. "He has to learn someday," they whisper amongst eachother,"Otherwise he will be the death of himself." He kicks the rocks, sighing softly. The path is unamusingly long. O, how he dreads to return to his home. The stars weep tears of sadness as they wait for his time. Does an angel ever die? The stars wait too long and the world's time has come. Cael stands at the edge, watching the disaster appear. How does he reach the heavens, the stars, the nebulas? The single tear drops and the word has been spoken. Cael awakes from the oddity of a dream. In his dream... he was different. He cared and was a fragile being; not like himself. Sweat rolls down his scaly cheeks and he stares at the scrolls on the floor. Was he home? Where was he? His memory had gone blank. He only remembers waking up, himself, and the stars. Had a new world been born? His dream was real. He stared at the water again. It feels familiar. The looks at the sunset and the stars, it all becomes a mystery. The breeze settled in and filled his nostrils, the calming sensation of being alone, never caring for anyone. He opened his eyes and saw the sand, the water, the sea stars. He furrowed his eyebrows and glanced at the sun,"Nothing.." blurb by @vintaegucci <3
