The second construct created by primal prodigal son, Pyrmal, Gienah is a at once small and large, able to contract herself smaller when required, and able to make herself huge and intimidating if needs be. Usually she maintains a size around that of Aerea, Pyrmal's first creation, to allow them to work better together. Like Aerea, Gienah is very loyal to Pyrmal, but she has more independence and personality than Pyrmal's first attempt. Consequently she is known to tease him, mock him, clamber up his neck when he's working and crack jokes: she feels much more alive, while Aerea's nature as a construct is impossible to ignore.

For the most part, Gienah gets along with most of the clan, her amiable nature and pure utility, as well as the clan's utter faith in Pyrmal's abilities, making her a valued member of the clan with little question or doubt. The only dragons likely to question Gienah's dragonhood are strangers and visitors, often put off balance by how very alive the young construct seems. The only exception to this is Bilberrios, who avoids the mechanical constructs Pyrmal works on, much preferring his attempts at creating true life from nothing. For all his existing successes, none are quite what he wants, aside from Chalice, and Pyrmal's jump from the mechanical Aerea to the much more lively Gienah in but one attempt makes Bil seethe with jealousy.

Under the advisement of her creator, Gienah doesn't take it personally.

For the most part, Gienah is found in the forges with Pyrmal and Aerea, assisting in the creation of new artefacts, tools and even constructs for the clan. Due to her greater measure of life and liveliness, her seeming vibrancy and the greater measure of magic she contains, she is able to help with more complicated enchanting, while Aerea's limitations likewise mean she's limited to only physical aspects of engineering and smithwork. Nonetheless, Aerea's age and experience makes her a valuable asset when Gienah decides to work on her own projects - such as maintaining her longmech, TwoNineSix.

Gienah's own magic also means she's allowed to sometimes work on tasks Pyrmal has long mastered and would prefer to not get caught up in; many of the clan's magical artefacts, while designed and originally made by Pyrmal, are now made by Gienah, and she's known for sometimes working cheeky little quirks into them. All things she enchants will do exactly what they say and never have a malicious addition - but they might sparkle unusually, or have a secret addition that tends to prove more helpful than not. Gienah may be a enchanted mechanical construct, but every little thing she works on ends up utterly unique.

The most notable oddities with Gienah are twofold - firstly, for all her liveliness and vibrancy, she is not alive as living dragons are: she feeds on magic and heat, most usually sleeping in the forge itself in order to refuel. Secondarily is that, like Aerea, her eyes indicate that a degree of Light magic went into creation, despite the fact that they were both made by a Fire-primal smith using technological knowledge gleaned from Lightning.

At present no one really knows why it is Light which has marked Aerea and Gienah. With Aerea's simple directness it was merely believed to be due to her truthful nature - that she sought to bring light to circumstances - but Gienah is more cheeky. Some argue she brings a different kind of light to situations, while others have changed tack and believe it to be due to how Pyrmal is seeking "true" life in mechanical form. No one knows for definite.

The Forge: Gienah loves the forges. She most especially loves her forge, given to her after her creation, where she lives and eats and sleeps - and where she works every day. Half of the tools there she made herself; the others were gifts from Pyrmal, Telchine, Herculanea, Aerea and Kyria.

Personal Projects: Pyrmal may have made Gienah but even he has no idea of all that she gets up to. The sheer number of clockwork mice that end up underfoot though - that's a little revealing.

Energy Cores: The very thing keeping Gienah "alive", these are what collect the warmth and magic which keeps her going. Though each one can last several years, and she both has spares and knows how to repair and make more, she treasures all she owns.

Personal Pocketwatch: One of the very first things Gienah ever made on her own, Pyrmal allowed her to keep it as a marker of how far she'd come, all she'd learned, her skill and her capability. She treasures it to this day.

Cuddly Toy: Gienah doesn't know why she was marked by the Lightweaver. She doesn't know why she was marked even more strongly than Aerea, given she's the one with goat eyes. Nonetheless, she takes comfort in the fact that, even though she's a construct, she has elemental magic just like any other dragon.

The Forgebed: As a construct, Gienah has no need for food, for all her seeming lifelike vibrancy. Instead she regains energy through warmth and magic. The latter she absorbs daily from Pyrmal's flaming eyes; the former she accumulates constantly, but most especially when sleeping in the forge in which she was made.

Trivia
╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

- Name Origin: Gienah is the name given to two stars, though these days it is most commonly associated with Gamma Corvi.

- Nicknames: Gigi, 'enah

- Likes: Working. She loves her craftwork and helping Pyrmal and Aerea. She likes jokes and teasing and seeing those around her laughing and happy.

- Dislikes: The cold, not having anything to do.

- Virtue: Task-oriented and detail-focussed, and prone to getting caught deeply into a task. If she gets it into her head to work on something she will complete her chosen task.

- Vice: Is independently minded to the point that sometimes she goes further off-task than Pyrmal might like. He doesn't object to her wanting to do things for herself, and 296 is very useful, but he does wish she'd warn him beforehand.

Longmech
Name: 296
╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
296 was found by Gienah when assisting more combat-oriented members of the clan in cleaning up after training fights; badly damaged but still sparking with lightning, Gienah grew in size enough to haul the damaged construct home. Pyrmal, she knew, was busy with his own work, repairing armour and weapons, and so, with Aerea, she decided to rebuild the damaged longmech on her own. While occasionally prone to minor malfunction - joints seizing or freezing mid-step - 296 is a much appreciated companion for Gienah, who can often be seen riding her repaired friend around the clan territories.
