Caiatis's day had come, after the nights of letter after letter and the long and aching urges to be with his love, he was finally ready to head west for the Scarred Wasteland. Though he knew it wasn't best to go alone with all of the Mutations. That fateful morning, Caiatis and his pack pawed out of their den and began full sprint towards the Travel Tunnel, an interconnected, underground cave system that connected the various locations founded by the Orchestra for civilian use as protection against the Mutations and safe travelling. However, due to the secrecy of the pack, there was no cave entrance that connected them, the closest being the cave entrance for Coalfell Village just outside of its gates.
Once they arrived the pack circled around Coalfell's gates for the hidden marker that identified the entrance. Aiterra located and gathered everyone to the entrance, and Reckless, being the only one with the strength, popped open the hatch as Shiro held it open.
Caiatis looked around at everyone, "Well, I guess it's time to leave." He mumbled as he continued to stare at his pack and the scenery around him.
"You got everything?" Phaeton asked, stopping the sand Gaoler.
"Yeah, at least I think." Caiatis's strong voice faded as it spoke as he began to frown.
"Oi, chin up, Cai, you're gonna go see your mate! It's not the time to be frowning." Ebenezar chirped up from behind Phaeton. Caiatis grinned, Ebenezar really does know how to brighten things up.
"There ya go, champ!"
Last was Reckless, the bulky and strong leader of the pack.
"Stay safe out there," Her strong tone and gaze pierced through Caiatis "Watch out for Mutations on the surface and watch out for the warning signs for the Ruins, who knows what's in there and I don't want you getting stuck there."
Caiatis nodded his head, then turned to the hatch.
"See you guys when I come back." He trotted in.
His packs farewells and messages of good luck echoed throughout the tunnel, ended with a hard squealing then a thud. He pulled out his directions given to him by Shiro and began his journey...
