I'm not sure if it's love anymore,
But I've been thinking of you fondly for sure,
Remember what your heart is for.
By your hand is the only end I foresee,
I have been dreaming,
You've been dreaming about me.
It's a good night,
For a fist fight,
Because the dew will temper your fall,
You'll sing me lullabies in form of your cat-calls.
Needless to say, Sventura does not have many memories of her parents, but she spent most of her time with the healers in the clan, more precisely, the enigmatic Azmera, her mate, Haemon, and her cousin, Requiem. She considers Azmera and Haemon more her parents than her real parents, for they were there when Diesel and Hera were not.
Requiem himself suffered from his own "disease". His hunter's moon senses were almost unnaturally strong, leaving him overwhelmed most of time, making him resort to almost... feral behavior, and his parents deemed it better to send him to another of their line, one who had more experience in curing one of their ailments, which was how he ended up with Azmera and her vampire mate.
Perhaps it was their shared suffering that made Sventura and Requiem so close as hatchlings, a bond that would last into adulthood.
While Sventura recovered from her childhood disease, she learned to fight from one of her own relatives in the clan; Cera. The half demon may have seemed cold, but she was an excellent trainer. In fact, a lot of her extended family seemed to live in the clan, some willing to help her, some not. Alestra, her aunt by father's side, warned her of her family's powers, should they ever affect Sventura. Solas, her other aunt on the other hand, told her to embrace them, but then, Solas was a little bit strange. Sventura found Vega more arrogant than anything, and then Harangue was... Harangue. With all his talk about death and souls, Sventura was quite creeped out by him, reminded of her own brush with near-death through her childhood disease. Melinoe and his mate were just kind of rude, if not worse.
On her bad days, days where she suffers from the leftovers from her childhood disease, she watches Requiem train. As a witchborne, Requiem has to knoww how to fight too, and on her better days, the two spar, Requiem's beast-like senses against Sventura's lineage bound strenght, both sides of her parents flowing through her blood.
For a nightcall reaper, Sventura is quite soft-spoken, but then, perhaps nurture vs. nature? Who is truly to say...
