Jorhaa'i has been blind all his life and it hasn't slowed him down a whit. He doesn't usually talk about the ghosts, but those aren't new, either. They smell like regret and sadness, usually, but sometimes he can lend a claw, and then they'll smell like sunshine. And they tell him the most interesting things, sometimes.

Jorhaa'i also doesn't like to talk about his former career. People tend to assume his blindness is the reason he retired, and he hates explaining that no, it was actually an entirely different degenerative disease that led to his stepping down. It isn't really their business anyway, and he can't stand the pity when he's actually doing perfectly well for himself, thank you.
