Biography
She regretted her choice, she’d cried out during her trials on the brink of failure for strength. What greeted her was not the strength she wanted but she accepted anyway. The dark essence gave her the power to turn back the plague running through her veins, ruining her body and ravaging her spirit. She passed all her trials on the very last day, went from Ghoul to Necromancer in a single step, but at what cost? She didn’t know yet. She headed out from her testing grounds and began wandering.
The darkness that had granted her the power to succeed gave her sight beyond what she imagined, a great boon to any necromancer. The ease of which she commanded disease and plagues set her uneasy. She felt like she had cheated, and her mantle while won felt empty. She set herself forward, she’d heal and fix what she could. She’d fight for redemption. At first none wanted to be close to her, her eyes showed her failure to pass the trials of her own strength. She’d have to hide them to begin finding her redemption.
She began carrying masks, changing them when she was examined too closely. She’d live among a clan for a while healing what she could before moving on when the questions started getting too invasive. She had done this for years and years. Too long she was beginning to run out of masks, but her work wasn’t done. Her redemption wasn’t finished. She wouldn’t be finished until the darkness had faded from her eyes. It’d be a long time before she found her redemption and her mantle feeling earned, until then she’d heal all she could and move on before her secret was discovered
