Biography
Echolalia
/ Echo Pereiro Underground DJ Trait1 | Trait2 | Trait3 Affiliations N/A “Quote here." ― Source here ♫ |
From a young age, Echolalia was obsessed with anything high-octane; perhaps to the exasperation of those around xem. Xe bounced off walls more than the average Spiral, flew in ovals when circles became too boring, got so caught up dancing that xe'd drop. The thrills of the Tangled Wood were enough to sate the dragon well through xyr adolescence and young adulthood, but it could only be expected that a dragon so hungry for excitement would soon grow tired of xyr thorny roots. But, when Echolalia one day packed up all xyr things, slung a backpack between xyr wings, and insisted xe was traveling to the Scarred Wasteland... those that truly cared about the overeager Spiral pushed xem in a more southeastern direction. So, the Shifting Expanse it was! Quickly adjusting to hitch-hiking with scrap metal scavengers across the scrubs, Echolalia found xemself surrounded by less-than-fortunate company. Scraping for scraps in the desert was no picnic (xyr saving grace was the relative calm of the land, xe said, unlike that horrid Wasteland), and Echo soon found that most of the scavengers had been rejected by their homes, dreamed of something far grander, or had simply lost their way. They weren't thrillseekers, weren't just trying to "find themselves"- not like the gloomy-eyed Spiral was. But Echo’s new companions didn't seem to harbor any ill will, and still insisted that Echo come witness something that could bring any wayward group together; Lightning's underground raves. Pulsing lights, lively crowds, music a dragon could feel in their bones, all blending into the euphoric thrill of a sweaty concert. Dancing beside xyr friends was one thing, but Echolalia couldn't help but glance up at each DJ with a sort of sweet envy. And, when xe just happened to catch a particularly enthusiastic one after a show, it wasn't long before Echo started practicing, producing, and playtesting Echo’s own creations, with a few "in-the-know" friends helping book some gigs. Echolalia was quickly on xyr way to headlining xyr own gigs, and news of the up and coming artist was spreading fast. So fast and so far, in fact, that right before xyr first Sornieth-wide tour, a letter straight from the Tangled Wood congratulated xem on xyr success, and reminded the artist that there were dragons at home that truly loved xem and missed xem. Now, Echo has been left with a choice; either tour Sornieth, or return to the home Echo never meant to abandon. After all, Shadow dragons would probably appreciate techno beats...

Just in time for Thundercrack Carnivale sort of, rising to fame in the Shifting Expanse has required this Shadow Spiral to make a tough decision...
