Personality
  • Impa's abilities may seem to come naturally to her, but don't be fooled! She's trained for years to be able to manipulate void matter as fluidly as she can.
  • The star-like patterns on her wings are actually small enchanted lights that can shine even in the blackest surroundings. Very helpful when surrounding one's self with void matter.
  • It's not really known why she has such a disdain for light, but it may be partly due to her partial assimilation into the void.
  • Impa's slicked coat is the result of built up residue sticking to her during her practice.
History
When Impa was a young dragon, she wandered away from her nest and stumbled upon a strange ball of dark goop. She watched it for a moment, amazed at its ability to almost consume any light around it. Was this the Shade she'd heard so many stories about? No, it couldn't be. It was much too deep. Going against her better judgement, she reached a claw out and touched it. Ever since then, she was never the same. What she had discovered was actually a part of the void: The absence of any matter. When she made contact, it absorbed into her body. She became one with darkness. Soon she found she could control the substance. First she could form small balls like the one she had originally found, then she could form a shield around herself made of complete darkness. Her powers would only grow from there. But what to do with such an ability? Only the future will tell...
