- she’s Karkoff’s first mate (in the pirate way)! she wasn’t always, but is now
- as a dragon, she keeps her beard as a tribute to the Gladekeeper. she doesn’t want facial hair when beastly, though. maybe some Tundra or Gaoler ladies or other Guardian ladies can pull it off, but she knows it’s not for her
- she’s a polyamorous lesbian! but at the moment she’s single. not super by choice she just happens to be moving around alot now she has gf! Rhuhn... trans guardsbian polycule in the making
- she just. really likes plants. not for medical potential or stuff like that, she just likes them. messes with genetics and crossbreeding plants to make them easier to grow on the ship. but mostly she likes collecting exotic or territory-exclusive plants. she keeps em in her room (I might have this be her Charge?)
- she has kind of a hard to define relationship with Karkoff? they’re close friends, but there was definitely a long stretch of time where Dahlia saw her as a mentor. they’re closer in age now (both because of weird dragon aging and just. how age is) but Dahlia still sees her as somewhere between an older sibling or young aunt or something sometimes. probably cause she didn’t really see Karkoff’s most defining years in the way Karkoff saw hers
- she’s a nerd. like straight up. if you give her the chance she can talk about botany forever. she’s also pretty good at stuff like quick math and visualizing things, and straightforward problem solving (as opposed to more abstract)
- she’s not particularly charismatic but she is pretty nice? so she’s nice to talk to. and she’s kind of quiet (definitely if you compare her to Karkoff) but doesn’t mind initiating conversations with strangers
- even if the pirate crew eventually dissolves, she’ll be content to just keep going with her plants. probably join some other seafaring vessel? just to keep getting new plants
