Meymoon, also referred to as Avale, is thought to have been the goddess of family, community, clanship, and home. Dragons, Beastclans, and other creatures all had their differing views on her appearance and affinity. Many claimed to have been visited by her in visions, but there have been many discrepancies. No one could agree for certain on her personality or appearance. Meymoon was aided by the archangel, Aegirael. Aegirael was once a whole being, whose essence was divided to better serve the goddess and her followers. Among the angels who were given life were Khoan the Crimson, Reesa the Silver, and Ambri the Gold. Other angels that have gone missing include Natari the Black, Urska the Violet, and Cassonay the Azure. Many of Aegirael's parts have scattered across the globe and are currently lost. Additionally, Meymoon's worldly followers were few, for many only believed in the Eleven Elemental Gods. Even so, she watched over Sornieth for ages, doing her best to unite and protect all creatures. |

History tells of a great battle that raged on between Meymoon and a great evil. This evil was Endural, the aspect of misperception and conflict. Meymoon and the Council of Aegirael were unable to defeat Endural. As a last resort, Meymoon used the last of her divine energy to forge a prison of rings out of the essences of her angels. Although Meymoon was no longer a goddess, her being remained intact. She materialized as a dragon egg, unlike any other seen on Sornieth. Her followers quickly spread word of the heroic sacrifice made by Meymoon and her angels. They gathered and swore an oath to repay their debt. Three guardians took charge over the care and protection of her egg. Calen the Green guarded her from physical threats, Luin the Blue guarded her from magical threats, and Baran the White guarded her from spiritual threats. Together, they watched her for a millennia before she hatched into a baby Spiral, with no memory of who she was or what she had done.
