In fairness, she was trying to save the hatchling’s life after they were found severely injured in the Arcane spires. In not-so-fairness, she probably didn’t need to dump them into Baldwin’s pot whole to cure it. Regardless, No. 2 sees Setsuna as a mother figure. In Alligator Clan, Ida is her mentor. If ever you feel the need to exalt, we'd really appreciate it if you could just return them to their original home via the Crossroads, the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or this rest hub. You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact hyzenthlaay and let her know! Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it. Experiment No. 2 probably had a name at some point, but it was lost to memory the moment they were abandoned under mysterious circumstances on the top of Clan Mavenlark’s crystal spires. Hatchling abandonment is common in the city; with so many dergs moving in and out, there are bound to be a few parents a day unable to look after and maintain their hatch choosing the easier way out. Experiment No. 2 was no usual case, however - when they were found by Setsuna, a permanent member of Clan Mavenlark, they were battered, bruised, and close to death. Setsuna, out of options for healing such a severely injured hatchling, decided to rush them to the nearest Baldwin’s Brew and dump the hatchling whole into the mixture. It seems to have worked - Experiment is alive, after all. But now they only speak in chirps (which the bird beasts love, and the two tend to have extended conversations), are unusually small for their age, and sell...maybe...potions. They do have some sort of stall, and there are certainly potions brewing at said stall, but their preferred payment tends to be sort of cryptic. They outright refuse treasure and precious stones, the preferred currencies of choice among Sornieth, and instead accept items such as soft feathers, poems, and bits of pocket lint. What the potions actually do, too, is unknown. Effects vary from growing extra limbs to the ability to turn objects to gold to outright death. Finding themself in the plague lands was perhaps the easiest part of their experience in the clan, though the ability they have to create potions quickly gains the attention of the clan's oracle, a spiral named Amae that is quick to insert himself directly into their business in hopes of getting them to work directly under him.

It's ... strange, really, and off-putting to the extent that Experiment's first potion is more of a prank and a goodbye to the clan as a whole (because really, who wants to deal with that?).

Those weirdos will be cleaning glitter from their apparel for weeks, while Experiment's laughing all the way to their next destination.

Clan Driftisle was an interesting place for Experiment to end up, because it was home to a few other descendants of Gengyar. They managed to ignore most of them, and mostly went about their own business in the town, but one day, their sister, Fucshiafruit, found them and wouldn't let them evade her. Fuchsia tried to talk to them, but after seeing that she couldn't, instead insisted that they at least leave with a familiar that could defend them. She gifted them a Toridae similar to her own.

They continued their frenzied, unsystematic travel until one day they suddenly shut down. It seems they forgot to monitor themselves and how much extra energy they're burning up to keep themselves from freezing in the tundra. Lucky for them, they were soon discovered and brought to a cave where they rested. Once they awoke, they began chirping away. That raised some eyebrows. Medics and healers couldn't figure out what was with this creature. So one day, leaving the experiment to work on their potions, they called the alchymist Icemist to have a look at them. He was fascinated! Such a wonderful specimen! He grew giddy like his clan has never seen before. He watched the experiment work, studied their behavior and tried to communicate - to no avail. But it seemed he grew quite friendly to this strange individual as he was given some very fancy looking potions as a gift to the ones he purchased. Over all, the experiment has become the talk of the clan and many dragons were pretty amused to watched them. Everyone felt quite sad when they discovered that the experiment has ran off to travel again.

One day, a green guardian was visiting the Star Shard Clan. Little did she realize that guardian was the leader of a Lightning Flight clan called Alligator Clan. When the first two dragons met, the mirror only saw herself as just an experiment, but Experimentnotwo was about to be offered a job. She would become a representative of the Earth Flight in the clan's hunting pack. The clan's hunting pack was responsible for providing the main food source for the clan, but they always have one of each flight and she had recently fired the earth flight representative came of offer the job to her. She was granted a green card to stay in Alligator Clan and promised residency in 30 days provided she prove worthy. When she arrived in Alligator Clan, she was introduced to another female mirror. "My name is Ida" said the mirror "I will be your mentor in the Alligator Clan pack." The mirror know as Experimentnotwo replied "Well, I am just an experiment" "OH NO, NO, No, I will not call you by that name. Aphrodite, your name is Aphrodite. From now on I am going to call you, Aphrodite. You are not an experiment Aphrodite. You are my apprentice and you have a name Aphrodite. Your first lesson is learn you name Aphrodite, ACP rep of Earth Flight"

Aphrodite has since trained two apprentices. Shiney, her scecond apprentice was the twin sister of Pretty who was Ida's apprentice.

In time, a war would change Alligator Clan. A spiral named Haven had become the new Alpha Female. An ancient enemy known as Colt Clan was planning on rebuilding the ancient pillar which they blamed on the Arcanists for it's destruction at the end of the 3rd age. Although Colt Clan's project was shut down at the end of the war, Colt Clan blamed Alligator Clan for their the attack which shut them down and warned that without the pillar, the flight gods could not keep the shade from returning forever. Since then, Alligator Clan had received many signs which were believed to be signs that the Storm Catcher was angry with them, so Alligator Clan moved to the Sea of 1,000 Currents. When the clan relocated, the Coyote Council went through a change. It no longer required it's members to be female mirrors. The new Coyote Council allowed any bread any gender; however, there could only be one from each flight and each member would be elected every term. Aphrodite enrolled in Alligator Clan University of Flight as a grad student and ended up becoming a lawyer. She is currently licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of Alligator Clan.
