WIP-- This is an extremely rough summary of who she is... Alona is a fairly down-to-Sornieth dragoness and when it comes to business she's all business. Though, that does not mean she can't be light-hearted. Exceptionally loving, witty, protective, and personable. She enjoys meeting new dragons and beasts and absolutely loves discussing the nature of her work with anyone who will listen. She has been ghost-hunting since she hatched, thanks to her grandfather who taught her the family business. When she was old enough to travel on her own she left to explore the world. Much of her young life she spent hunting ghosts by herself until she realized that was suicide and went searching for like-minded individuals. In the process stumbling across one of the most haunted locations she's ever encountered: Etesian. Alona founded the Etesian Paranormal Society to study and, hopefully, one day, heal the pain in the Haunted Woods around Etesian. |

Buteo One of the front-line fighters for the Veiled Phoenix Organization, these are the brave souls that hunt down and subdue souls of a choleric nature. They are hardened fighters who are accustomed to the temperamental and often violent nature of their prey. |

Hearer A hearer, or listener, has the ability to perceive the noise a soul makes. What that translates into is dependent on the individual. The downside to hearing souls is that sometimes the hunter can be overwhelmed by the noise of the living and the departed (especially in highly populated areas --spiritual and living). They are also susceptible to emotion-affecting abilities displayed by some undead and visitors. |

Seer As the name might suggest, seers or observers, are able to see a soul or visitor. The degree to which the entity is visible is dependent on the individual. Much like their hearer counterparts, the seer is susceptible to illusions cast by clever undead. It is best not to blindly follow your visions (pun not intended). |

Bag of Trinkets A small bag full of helpful charms and tools that help the hunter stay beyond the attention of unfriendly, living opponents. Nothing in this bag will help against the spirits. |

Vial of Spirit Holding This is a handy trinket for hunters who have subdued their targets and now have to move them to a gate. The vial acts as a soul container and can hold up to two souls at a time. WARNING: holding two spirits in the vial together for prolonged periods can lead to the combining of the spirits and threat to the vial holder. |

|
Tracker's Shades These glasses are enchanted to create a glowing trail behind an apparition, allowing the seeker to track their target. It is should outline certain illusion magics as well, but very rarely does this effect work. |
Companions & Familiars

Whiskers & Spot Whiskers and Spot are the constant companions of Alona. They have been with her since she was young and first starting out on her own. The cats have been exposed to ghosts since they were kittens and this gives them a heightened sixth sense that has helped, and even saved, Alona in the past. At least one of them is with Alona at any given time. This is not because she refuses to leave them, because she has tried on more than one occasion, but because they refuse to leave her. Even if she attempts to sneak away she always finds one has followed her. |
