bio
previously a pezzottaite ring, this tiny fae 'guards' the citadel's shield crystal. he mainly naps on the crystal. like all jewelry box fae, he doesn't use his magic to protect the crystal instead preferring to nip at any dragon who tries to touch it. amethyst and corbin theorize he may be hoarding it and is simply just protecting the crystal.

there is not much to say about pezzottaite, as he is a jewelry fae he fairly emotionless. outside of protecting the shield crystal, he wanders around the society's hoard, snuggles with the other non-fae jewelry, and often acts as a silent confidante to corbin's worries. amethyst also visits him, running tests and generally studying him.

the shield crystal pezzottaite protects isn't a simple decorative gem that the society has decided to display, it is the only protection the society and its residents have against the constant magical fallout within the starfall isles. made after the citadel's upheaval during a surge of arcane energy, it served as a substitute for the crystalspine reaches that previously protected them. activated, the massive gem forms a shield around the citadel, its strength rivals the astrolodome' arcglass dome.
