Orion

Uh-oh, looks like this Galactic Traveler wandered a little too far from his home lair (521647, octobers), and now he's off to see the world! Or universe, if possible. If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Orion is the son of the renowned seer Noctifer. Orion decided to set off and see the world, and keep the legacy of his father's species alive. He wants to learn all he can, much like his aunts and uncles that traverse the universe. He has a travel journal, where he records all of the events and experiences that happen during his journey.

Travel Log:

Today I start my journey! Mother is helping me pack, I think she's sad to see me go. She still has my sisters, though! I will miss them and Father a lot, but I'm really excited for the trip. Father refused to look into my future to see what will happen on my expedition, I think he's worried about me. I promised him and Mother that I'll stay safe, but they still feel unsure. Andromeda gave me a pair of earrings I can wear when I'm older, she says they'll help me remember her. My other two sisters are going to leave for new clans soon, they will miss me greatly. Who knows, maybe I'll visit their clans while I'm traveling! Well, I'm going to go eat dinner with my family, and then I'll be off! -6/2/20

Today, I arrived to the first stop on my journey! It was quite a change of environments. The entrance to the lair was well hidden by cacti, although there was a telltale sign of several dragons sitting outside. Once inside, it was a rather large but comfortable area, and I could see many dragons just sitting around. A small nocturne dragon, just a little big bigger than me, showed me around the lair. I met a few other Imperials, just like me! I can't wait to see how my stay will be here! - 6/3/20

It is now time for me to leave this lair and continue my journey. I have met many dragons here, and grew both physically and mentally. The Imperials, a couple, helped me become stronger and taught me much. I will be thinking of them through my travels. Who knows, maybe I'll see them again. But for now, I must keep going. - 12/6/20

While traveling across the desert, I ran into a fascinating Guardian named Gage who invited me to come with her to her clan. It was a long journey to Earth Flight, but worth it! I felt at home in the clan of former wanderers and they had so much to share. Gage turned out to be a cyborg as well as the clan's blacksmith, and she taught me a lot about smithing and electronics. Her brother shared some of his knowledge of alchemy; the Witchborne Leicester told me stories of his people; and the Skydancer Nii'veas brought me on her hunting trips. I wouldn't have ever guessed there was so much to learn in this little cave in the side of a cliff! While I could stay here for years learning, it's time for me to move on and see more of the world. Gage saw me off with a gift - a beautiful and sturdy set of bracelets. - 08/01/2020

I was able to stay within the Starwood Strands at a place known as the Starbright Clan. I stumbled across this little place when an odd-looking Ice Fae in the forest--a scholar named Piru. Before I knew it, I was introduced to the clan leader, a Guardian by the name of Prophecy, and the clan founder, Fantasia. They explained about their scholarly clan and how they are investigating the strange energy that surrounds them here. At first, I was just helping around the clan, thinking that my stay would only be for a week or so. A week became a season, then a year. I still haven't registered that almost 3 years has passed...During my extremely long stay here, I saw wonders that I never imagined. Who knew that the Piru I met was from thousands of years ago? Before I left, he gave me a cloak and wished me safe travels. With the new experiences I gathered here, I think I'll go back now. I do terribly miss home - 2/25/2023
