Siren is a musical skydancer found humming and dipping her tail into a nearby river as a child. While her attempts at catching river fish were unsuccessful, she still seemed to enjoy the practice. Brought into the clan, she showed a proficiency for healing injuries, a talent shared by many in the clan. The difference with Siren of course, was her skilled use of magic and tools to set bones, sew battle injuries, and correct identification of the different types of medicines and poultices needed for strength and fast recovery. Vortex took the chance and quickly trained the girl into a proficient doctor, much to the behest of the other apprentices, before handing in her resignation form to Voltair. Thankfully it didn't take long for Siren to earn a standing amongst the other doctors, healers, and herbalists. Like her co-workers, Treacle and Sahara, Siren is a healer, but focuses on battle injuries and the more clinical practices. She praises the beneficial qualities of clean water, and practices washing her paws with pure mountain water every time before surgery, a practice often met with confusion and eventual acceptance. Siren tends to walk on her back legs, often using a cane to prop herself up on her admittedly short legs. To keep her paws clean, she often refuses to handle dirty items and foodstuffs. One would call her a germaphobe, but her best interest is of course her patients. In a habit traced back to her childhood, Siren likes to sing childish lullabies and sing-daughter nursery rhymes while she works. She doesn't quite remember who she learnt them from, but assumes it's her now long forgotten parents. She thinks she had a brother, but can't quite remember. Sahara believes the amnesia may be linked to some head trauma when she was younger, which may have led to her confused wanderings into the Tribe.

Tremors ran down her body as she went rigid. Lying on her side in the nest, the sight of her hatchling convulsing made Pandora feel sick to her stomach. Siren gasped and seemed to come to it, before another convulsion took over her. Her eyes fluttered and her tail stuck straight out as she whimpered. Pandora couldn't watch anymore and turned away, hiding her other daughter from the sight. Younger than Siren by only a few minutes, her sister still didn't understand why Siren shook, but she knew it was bad. Pandora stayed like that, holding her daughter, until the rustling finally stopped. Turning around, she saw her child, exhausted and bleeding from the mouth. She had bitten her tongue again, and the blood stood out against her pale skin. With all the gentleness of a mother, Pandora picked her sick daughter up and crept out of the nursery. Her daughter was going to hurt herself, or even die, if nothing was done. Siren clung to her as she flew, relishing in her warmth. She didn't know why, but she felt dirty and bruised all over, like she'd run through a swamp full of biting insects. her paws cramped, and her head throbbed, and her mouth tasted of iron. Her sister watched over her with a concerned air, which Siren accepted, even if she didn't fully understand why. Finally, Pandora made it to the marketplace, a bustling area full of dragons hawking their services. Pulling at the wings and sashes of the dragons passing her, she begged for someone to help her baby. Dragons turned away, and avoided her, with some even hissing and swiping at her and her babies. Realising the danger, she had put herself and her daughters in, Pandora began to head home, when a skydancer ran up to her. Clad in adventurer's gear, with a bag of gold, she glided over to the trio. Speaking in fluent, if accented Common, the skydancer introduced herself as Brianna, and asked about the little girl in Pandora's arms. Pandora explained her plight, and Brianna looked concernedly at Siren. She'd fallen asleep, and the blood had dried on her skin, which barely moved with her breaths. To any other dragon, it looked like Siren was dying, but Brianna was excited. According to her, there was a legendary Skydancer in her Tribe who could make Siren better. She could live in her Tribe after she recuperated, and work for them. The idyllic life Brianna painted certainly was appealing, and with a quiet grooming, Pandora handed over her precious baby over. Siren was amid another seizure when Brianna arrived, and her throes nearly caused her to drop her more than once. Calling out to Sahara, she placed her down and comforted her as her body thrashed and jerked. Soon a crowd had gathered, surrounding Sahara, Brianna, and the poor Siren. With her hands of either side of Siren's head, Sahara closed her eyes and became very still as Siren quietened. Hours passed, and Sahara stayed still as Siren slept. Brianna stood guard, deflecting questions and providing shade as the day passed. Siren trailed her tail in the water, watching the fish nibble at it. Her head only slightly throbbed now, and she didn't know why, but the water was cool and fresh. It still hurt to try and think about anything, but she welcomed the blissful peace in her head. Leaves rustled, and a skydancer walked out from between the trees. Calling out her name, she beckoned for her to follow. Siren didn't know why, but she felt like peace. Siren got up, washed her hands in the river, and followed her, seizure and memory free.
