Killjoy was found as an egg, abandoned in the frozen tundra of the Southern Icefields, by the former military leader of the clan. After hatching, he very quickly proved himself different from other Fae, taking immediately to the combat arts despite his small size. He soon was the second in command, taking over the clan's defensive forces after their old home tragically collapsed into the ocean, killing the previous general and most of the clan's fighters.

Stoic and reserved, Killjoy often forgoes on the usual clan activities, choosing instead to perch on any a number of nearby vantage points and watch the area. His loyal Hainu can usually be found nearby, scouting around and keeping him company at his roost. The pair are nearly inseparable, having a bond much closer than any other dragon and familiar in the clan.

Rumour among the clan has that Primrose and Bernadette are the only two ever to have heard him speak. He's adept at gesturing to any other dragon, having created an effective 'sign language' using his crest and frills.
