Not long after Skyla was born with the mission to explore the world, she left home. At that time, she had already learned to fly, but not particularly well. Or long, for that matter.

Very soon, she found herself growing lethargic. Continuous use of her wings meant that she needed a lot of energy, and she soon found her small energy stock depleted.

Despite her efforts, Skyla soon found herself falling out of the sky. Unfortunately for her, she had flown out to open sea, so there wasn’t anywhere for her to land safely.

Just when Skyla was losing hope, however, a streak of green darted by her. The next moment, Skyla felt herself wrapped around another Spiral.

“You tryin’ to die or somethin’?” Adalyn asked, audible amusement in her voice. She dove out of the air, going straight towards the water at what felt like supersonic speeds.

Skyla screeched in fright as they hit the surface of the water. She squeezed her eyes shut, preparing for approaching doom-only to realise a moment later that she was still breathing.

“Funniest reaction I’ve seen in m’time of rescuing.” Adalyn joked. They were now hovering in the middle of the lair, smiling at Skyla. “Well, welcome to the Rainbow Bubble Clan’s Lair!”

Skyla stared around in wonder. This was literally the inside of a bubble?! That was really amazing. And horrifying.

“Thanks for that, but I can’t stay long. I have to explore the world!” Skyla explained to Adalyn.

“We explore the world as well. You can explore the world with us!” Another dragon remarked, and Skyla turned to see Shim.

And so, that was how Skyla came to decide to stay with the Rainbow Bubble Clan.
